Senior Vice President – Sales

Position Summary

RenoMoney is looking to hire a Senior Vice President of Sales (“Sales SVP”) who has the drive and desire to build an enduring, high volume book of business through deep personal investment in customer and colleague relationships and a relentless focus on end-to-end customer service.  As a RenoMoney Sales SVP, you will aggressively grow your existing network of builders, developers, and landlords in addition to other referral sources (e.g., realtors, brokers, title agents) with a focus on generating repeat business and helping our customers grow their businesses.  Sales SVPs are expected to represent RenoMoney in the community through regular participation in professional associations, community organizations, speaking events, conferences, meet-ups, and other events.  In addition to prospecting, Sales SVPs interview customers to determine their requirements and recommend appropriate products, terms, and pricing for their unique situations.  Sales SVPs are expected to stay intimately involved with their customers’ loans through the entire loan lifecycle in collaboration with the operations team.  As required, Sales SVPs will be responsible for managing and/or training junior sales team members.

 

Responsibilities

    • Establish and maintain trusted business relationships with builders, developers, and landlords

    • Grow a robust referral network of realtors, brokers, title agents, and other influencers

    • Develop and continuously optimize sales strategies and plans to drive loan volume

    • Stay highly visible in the community through professional associations, community organizations, speaking events, conferences, meet-ups, and other events

    • Interview prospects and customers to determine product requirements, assess program qualifications, structure the loan, and issue term sheets

    • Negotiate loan price and terms

    • Collect completed applications and initial document requirements from the customer

    • Collect and report prospect and customer information and conversion within the CRM system and/or other reports

    • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the life of the loan

    • Maintain current knowledge of applicable regulations, the real estate market, and competition

    • Manage and/or train junior sales team members, as required

    • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

    • Broad, well-established networks with builders, developers, landlords, and other referral sources

    • Proven track record of commercial mortgage originations to builders, developers, and landlords

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

    • Deep knowledge of commercial mortgage products and loan structuring

    • Extensive experience with CRM systems

    • Strong working knowledge of MS Office including SharePoint

    • Hard working and internally driven to succeed

    • Valid driver’s license

Education & Experience

    • 5+ years of commercial mortgage lending sales experience to builders and developers

    • Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university
