Position Summary
RenoMoney is looking to hire a Processor/Closer who has the drive and desire to leverage their broad mortgage operations experience to manage files and relationships end-to-end. From a processing perspective, you will manage your pipeline from submission through closing including obtaining required documentation, updating system records, regularly interactingwith customers and third parties, and verifying information for accuracy and completeness. From a closing perspective, you will be responsible for all closing processes including preparing and verifying closing documents, ordering closing instructions, and timely delivery to settlement/title companies of all required documents to be included in the closing package.

Processing Responsibilities
• Own and manage a pipeline of loan files in various stages of completion
• Serve as a liaison between borrowers, mortgage brokers, account executives, real estate agents, and underwriters to efficiently move files through the loan lifecycle
• Obtain and analyze property documentation including appraisals, inspections, title searches, payoffs, site surveys, flood searches, insurance, contracts, and property tax records
• Collect and review general contractor documentationincluding GC insurance and GC license
• Order, compile, and review borrower documentation including application, asset statements, experience andREO schedules, background searches, verifications of deposit, credit and credit supplements, and letters of explanation
• Assemble and submit loan packages to underwriters for conditioning, approval or denial
• Adhere to all lending and regulatory guidelines and policies
• Organize and track loan information and documentation in the LOS and Sharepoint
• Other duties, as assigned
Closing Responsibilities
• Prepare closing instructions, review and approve HUD-1 settlement statements and closing disclosures, and prepare/print closing packages that match company and investor guidelines
• Perform pre-closing review of loan files before releasing closing package, including, but not limited to all preliminary documents provided from the closing agent (e.g., title binder, survey, termite report, deed, closing disclosure, power of attorney and/or trust documentation)
• Ensure that all underwriting, QC and closing conditions are satisfied prior to release of the closing package to the closing agent
• Release closing documents, including all at-closing conditions to the closing agent in accordance with RenoMoney policies and procedures
• Provide funding authorization for disbursement of funds after review of signed closing package
• Calculate funding amount for each loan package, balance figures with closing agent, release wire and fund loan within established deadlines
• Contact title companies, county recorder’s offices, attorneys, loan officers, processors and insurance companies to obtain documentation necessary to close mortgage loans
• Serve as liaison between RenoMoney and closing agents
• Prepare reports giving executives visibility into daily closing activity
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable regulations
• Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
• Deep knowledge of mortgage processing and closing concepts, practices and procedures
• Experience with The Mortgage Office (TMO) a plus
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office including SharePoint
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and very organized
• Good aptitude for figures and accurate data entry
• Hard working and internally driven to succeed
• Valid driver’s license
Education & Experience
• 2+ years of mortgage processing experience
• 1+ years of mortgage closing experience and/or title experience
• Commercial mortgage experience preferred
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university
